A judge has ordered the
rapper Nas to pay his ex wife Kelis $
55,000 a month in combined spousal and child support
plus the mortgage on their L.A. residence as well as all hospital and prenatal expenses.
Not only that, Nas also has
to pay Kelis' lawyer, Laura Wasser $35
,000.
Damn! That's $11,880,000
over an 18-year span.
Nas told the judge he doesn't have that kind of money. He has declared his monthly income is about
$147,000 and that his own expenses total about $71
,000 per month.
Meanwhile, Kelis has been
on Twitter to tell fans the good news.
She wrote: "He's 7.8 pounds of the
greatest stuff on earth. I will remember for the rest of my life.
Kelis says that her estranged husband "Nas" has stranded her financially,not offering her any money even though she is about to give birth to his son."I have run out of money," Kelis states in papers she filed requesting that a judge order Nas to pay spousal support,child support,all pregnancy-related expenses,and one-half of all medical expenses after the child is born,plus she wants $3,500 for the baby nurse after the child's birth,and $20,000 for strollers,cribs and other baby supplies.
