The custody case
regarding the late Michael Jackson's kids has finally
reached an end, and the children's grandmother
Katherine Jackson will be their legal custodian.

According to Katherine's attorney Londell McMillan, everything has been settled, with Debbie Rowe (the mother of two of the kids) receiving visitation rights, but no money.

McMillan during an interview told press, "It's an
agreement, for the best interests of the children. This is not a money deal. This is not about money."

Earlier on an interview on 'The Early Show' this morning, McMillan explained, "We will be making an announcement very shortly on that issue, and all of the parties are
resolved. There is no situation better for these
children than for them to be raised and reared in the
loving care of Mrs.
Katherine Jackson."

Michael Jackson wanted Diana Ross to look after his three kids, according to his will.
In the document, his mum Katherine, 79, is named as the primary guardian of Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II, 7.
But in the event she is unable to care for them, Michael requested Diana, 65, step in.
The will - drawn up in July 2002 - was filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday by lawyer John Branca and music executive John McClain, who are named as executors.
'The most important element of Michael's will is his unwavering desire that his mother, Katherine, become the legal guardian for his three children,' reads a statement.
'As we work to carry out Michael's instructions to safeguard both the future of his children as well as the remarkable legacy he left us as an artist, we ask that all matters involving his estate be handled with the dignity and the respect that Michael and his family deserve.'
Michael's ex-wife Debbie Rowe, the mum of his two eldest children, was omitted from the will.

Michael Jackson's ex-wife and mother of his children Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr. and Katherine Jackson, is ready to take full custody of her children,TMZ reports.
Debbie Rowe and Michael divorced in 1999.In 2005,she attempted to give up her custodial rights to the kids, saying that MJ was the best father ever. The judge in the case originally terminated her rights, but later reversed the decision.Lance Spiegel,Michael's attorney says that under the law,the Department of Children and Family Services must conduct a parental fitness investigation before parental rights are terminated and that didn't happen with Rowe. Therefore, under California law,Debbie would be the person who would presumably get custody.
